The 49ers add veteran help by signing linebacker Desmond Bishop. The former Cal product has spent time with the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals.
Bishop has a variety of experience, including both as an inside and outside linebacker. He last played with the Arizona Cardinals in this past preseason. Bruce Arians used him primarily as an inside guy.
