Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Cincinnati Bengals worked out linebackers Chris Carter and Desmond Bishop on Wednesday.
However, the team ultimately elected to sign Carter to a contract instead of Bishop.

The Arizona Cardinals waived Bishop earlier in the week, despite signing him to a contract just a few months ago to bolster their depth at linebacker.

Bishop, 30, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers. He spent five years with Green Bay and helped them win a Super Bowl before he suffered a serious hamstring injury that cost him the 2012 season.

Bishop later caught on with the Vikings, but unfortunately suffered a torn ACL and was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
Arizona actually signed him before the start of the season and he managed to make it through roster cuts, but was released soon after.
