Judging by the enthusiasm, fun, and excitement that was generated in the high school gym, it looks like those relationships are building. At Tuesday’s opening ceremony, Desmond Bishop, the former Green Bay Packer who played in Super Bowl XLV and got his start at Fairfield High, spoke to campers and parents. Vacaville Police Chief John Carli also addressed the group. The camp culminated on Thursday with a free barbecue for all participants.
